Checking the Project Deliverables

The first step to closing out your project is to finalise and transfer the project deliverables to the client, sponsor or funder. Go through your project brief and project schedule to identify all deliverables and make sure they have been fully completed and handed off.

Questions to ask at this point are:

  • Have we achieved the end in mind?
  • Have we reached the project goals?
  • What were the project KPIs and have we satisfied them?
  • Do we need a formal report outlining achievement of deliverables?
  • Have we identified the project social impact?
  • What documentation needs to be produced to obtain project sign off?
